Paul Partanen has extensive experience in leading and growing successful biotechnology companies. He has acted for ten years as the R&D Director and a member of the board in Labsystems Oy (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc).

Further on, he has served as the CEO and a member of the board of Biohit Oy. He has also served as the CEO of Starlab Group.

Paul Partanen is the founder of two biotechnology companies, Locus Genex Oy (now part of Biohit Oy) and H-Biotechnology Oy. Paul Partanen has several publications in leading journals regarding diagnosis of infectious diseases and cancer, and is an inventor in over 30 patents related to diagnostics and laboratory technology.
